Ron Townsend is the founding pastor of the Epping Bible Baptist Church, where he has served for 26 years. He grew up in Brentwood, and graduated from Exeter High School in. In1978 he received his Bible degree from Liberty Bible Institute in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is currently in his second year of Faith Bible Institute, a three year Bible college offered at his church and is also in the process of becoming certified under the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors.
He has been married to his wife Debby for 34 years and they have 4 grown children and 7 grandchildren.
In his free time he enjoys weight lifting, running, hunting and cheering for the New England Patriots.
